Avery’s Exhaust

Vehicle Type:

Resto-Moded 1956 Chevy 210

Avery is a guy from St. Louis that is building a resto-moded ’56 chevy 210. He contacted us to build him a nice exhaust system to complement his chassis and suspension.

Details:

We had a factory LS3 exhaust manifolds Cerekoted to keep them from rusting as quickly and built a custom exhaust. The exhaust is all 2.5″ T304 stainless and all mandrel bent. The challenge on this one was building it in a way that was completely serviceable. Since this frame had a large inner stiffener with exhaust passthroughs, it needed to be able to come apart in large sections. For instance the front flange would not fit through the hole in the frame nor would the mufflers or hangers. our design allows the front section to slide out of the mufflers. The tail pipes are independent and secured with the v-band assembly while the mufflers can slide back through the holes in the chassis. High quality exhaust systems are always a challenge and are very enjoyable for us to build. Thanks Avery!
